What is the American tube flange and flange pipe fittings?

What is the United States tube flange and flange pipe fittings?

The American standards for managing flanges and pipe fittings are the 2009 edition. This is the most significant version of the standard revision. In 2003, ASMEB16.5 was upgraded, which is very different from the previous version of the standard. It uses the meter units as the primary reference units, while retaining American customary units in parentheses or in single columns. The purpose is to remove US customary units when the next version of the standard is released. This standard recalculates all pressure-temperature ratings using the latest version of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Volume D. Certain materials have gone from combination to group, and new groups have been added. At the same time, the 150 and 300 grade end flange sealing surfaces and their relationship to the flange thickness and center-to-end and end-to-end sizes. Modified the flange thickness dimension datum. But the flange thickness remains the same. The minimum thickness identification of flange has been changed from C to tr, tt excluding the 150 (and 300 pound flange and 2.0 (0.06in) flange fittings. In addition, the grade neck welding flange is merged as a new family flange of 150~2500 pounds class. The standard was approved by the American Standards Board and ASME and issued on July 9,2003.

  1. Large concave and tenon surfaces are not suitable for 150 pound class because there may be dimensional contradictions.
  2. All dimensions are indicated in millimeters
  3. For sealing surface dimensions (except ring connection), see ASME B16.5- -2009, and Table 5.
